This workshop will start with some light movement and stretches to create space in the body before moving into the mind. Please feel free to bring a blanket or pillow to add more comfortable during meditation. Breath-work leads into meditation using mindfulness practices and will finish with a guided visualization into a pure peaceful state. workshop part 1: April 27th
In this workshop we will be downloading the tools and movements to turn your world upside down! We will gain an understanding of the 3 major energy locks (bandhas) and help direct that energy with core activation leg engagement/flexibility and compression creating pelvic stabilization and mobility working on getting the hips over the shoulders. this will prepare us for all kinds of headstands, pincha and handstand variations.
workshop part 2: May 25th
A master class starting with pranayama then using the knowledge and tools from the first workshop to explore different flight plans on going upside down during class. We will be stopping along the way to explore different options and transitions from inversions to the next pose and or next pose to inversions with refreshers on going upside down along the way. Lastly coming in for a landing capped with relaxation and meditation earning your license to fly .
