This year’s teacher training program is a new format, 50/50 online and in person, that contains not only comprehensive lectures, workshops, and virtual assignments, but also real life group training sessions!
This year you will learn from our Santa Monica yoga director, Jenna Roth and some of our most popular and knowledgable teachers, Layna Dakin, Zara Gardner, Brooke Marcy, Chris Youmans, and Toni Longoria. I took the Sweat 200hr TT with Layna and Zara not knowing I wanted to become a teacher, my intention was to further my skill set as a yogi and student! Safe to say that my experience in TT was nothing short of AMAZING and truly was life changing. At the time I didn’t know that I needed teacher training as much as I did and so happy I made the leap of faith to try something new that I was curious about. I truly believe what sets the SweatYoga TT apart from any other program is Layna and Zara. To know them is to love them and to be taught by them is absolute privilege. I could not recommend a better teacher training program and will be forever grateful to be apart of the SweatYoga family and community!
My teacher training experience with Layna & Zara was one of my most enriching and formidable life experiences. Sweat’s training is set apart by not only the knowledge Layna and Zara possess but their passion for the practice and compassion for those they teach. Their teaching training taught me about the fundamentals of yoga and about effective communication of the knowledge in a way to helps both students and teachers of yoga cultivate strength, self-connection and self-compassion beyond their mat!
